Daria Vitolo was born in Naples, the 24th February 1970, but she has always been living in Rome. She has been studying Graphics and she got a degree as Illustrator before graduating cum Laude in Foreign Literature at Rome's University.The first techniques she experimented, apart from drawing, are clay modeling and the tromp l'oeil, the last one on walls and on different materials, like wood or linen carboard. An important school the tromp-l'oeil one which permitted to Daria to learn the technique of drawing, the prospective and the composition. Then, after other experimental activities with acrylics, ecolines, water colours, oils, she came to the Serti technique on silk and other textiles. (continua) |
